Introducing: The Bennett Diaries

It’s me, irishcookie!

For the past few years I have been writing for TVD and posting some of it on my personal tumblr.  I started my personal tumblr to express my love for hockey (and the occasional flail over a tv show) but I realize now that it is getting overtaken by my writing.

So I decided to create a tumblr to solely house my writing/TVD love.

Given that my favorite character is Bonnie and I mostly write for her, I named it “The Bennett Diaries” but there is always the chance that other characters may pop up.  All my fiction, gif stories, etc, will be posted there from here on out.

To any of my followers who follow me for my writing/Bonnie love, I’d love it if you follow me here!

The Bennett Diaries

love-live-act reblogged your post: So did Bonnie essentially kill Tyler??!!

But Klaus is dead?? So doesn’t that mean Tyler is basically dead? Okay I’m soooo lost please break this down because I’m…

Klaus isn’t dead.  His soul/essence/spirit whatever is in Tyler’s body.  Klaus’ body is a shell that Alaric destroyed so Klaus has no where to camp now but Tyler’s body.  But Tyler is probably in his own body too. Much like what Greta and Maddox did to put Klaus in Ric’s body.  Two souls/essences/spirits whatever in one body.

Basically there was no one home in Klaus’ body when Ric staked it which is why everyone is still alive and kicking (including Tyler, he is just shoved down inside his own body right now)

In fact there is speculation now that Tyler was in on it because there was a whole scene in which he told Caroline that he “would call Bonnie” so there is a possibility that Tyler suggested or agreed to the idea of hiding Klaus in his body.

Who knows.

All I know is Bonnie’ll get hated on for like 4 months and then suddenly everything will be explained and then people will be like “oh shit, bonnie saved Klaus” or “Bonnie saved the whole bloodline” and then go back to the regular hate.

I would like to take the time to say

That Klaroline is still unacceptable even if Klaus is in Tyler’s body mmmkay?

I don’t ship forwood either.

Except I ship Forwood over most Caroline pairings but I am not huge fan.

So did Bonnie essentially kill Tyler??!!

love-live-act:

Because Yeah I wanted DarkBonnie but her killing Tyler is not okay!!! If I’m misunderstanding something then okay. But I’m not cool with what looks like Bonnie killing Tyler.

I doubt she killed him.

Klaus possessed Alaric’s body.  Esther possessed half of Mystic Falls.

I am pretty sure Bonnie just did what Maddox and Greta did to transfer Klaus over to Tyler’s body.  Tyler’ll come back and be like “WTF BBQ Bonnie?” and she’ll just shrug and go be badass.

This is the most retarded shit I’ve ever seen. Stefan yanked the fucking door off the truck.

How about ripping the seat belt so the bitch can swim out behind you?

Well…it all pretty much went down as I thought.

To the Canadian lovelies that watch TVD

jonesscervixinvaderswagevans:

I wouldn’t mind if you spoiled what happens to my girl Bonnie to me.

Everything else idc about.

I always look to the Canadians to soften the blows for me. The punch in the face doesn’t hurt as much when you know what’s coming.

I have five minutes to go.

I need someone to soften the punch for me!

This could be painful.

(Continuation of this)

For a moment the two stand there taking the other in.

It is as if they are both waiting for the other to lunge, speak, blink.  The silence stretches into something uncomfortable and Bonnie wonders just how she found herself right back where she started after so many months of blissful normal existence.

In the end, she guesses she should have known better.  She should have realized she has been merely on vacation - that reality would come crashing in.  Perhaps she should have even expected it to do so in such a deadly fashion.  The things she had done in Mystic Falls to protect those she loved have left a permanent scar upon her.  She can’t hide it and it’s no wonder that no one has come for her before.

But still…why did it have to be him?

“Klaus?” Of course it was Brandy speaks, that takes them both out of the moment. Bonnie spares a glance to her roommate and finds her standing there watching the pair with frank curiosity.  Brandy then directs her gaze toward him.  ”I thought you told me your name was Nik.”

Klaus doesn’t even acknowledge her, his eyes are still fixed on Bonnie.  That doesn’t bode well for Brandy’s survival, Bonnie realizes.  He is still wiping his hands methodically and she has the urge to rip her towel from his hands.  She manages to hold back.  ”Your hair is a bit longer than I remember, love,” he begins, tossing the soiled towel on her neatly made bed.  He is reaching out before she can react and flicking a lock of the aforementioned hair over her shoulder.  ”It suits you.”

“You two know one another?” Brandy continues.  Bonnie wishes for once her dimwitted quasi-friend would wake the hell up, realize the danger and exit the room at once.  It has been awhile since Bonnie has had blood on her hands and she is not looking forward to it - even if it comes in the form of one irritating human being.

“You could say that,” Klaus drawls.  ”Old acquaintances really…”

“Great,” Brandy mutters, giving her foot an indignant stomp that has the two of them pulling their gaze from one another to look at her.  ”Figures I would find the hottest guy on campus and my roommate has already sexed him up.”

Bonnie’s mouth falls open around the same time that Klaus’ grins.  ”It’s a small world, sweetheart.”

Bonnie finally finds her voice, wanting to protest the idea that she would ever consider touching Klaus in that manner but instead she is all business.  ”What do you want?”

Klaus’ eyes are on her again and she gets the distinct feeling he is pulling her apart, piecing her back together, getting a feel for this new Bonnie and weighing just how to strike her where it will most hurt.  ”I should think it obvious, Bonnie.”

Yes, it is.

Revenge - plain and simple.  She had been instrumental in putting him away after over 1000 years of terror.  She - the teenage witch.  How that must burn him…how he must wish to burn her.

“Not here,” Bonnie states clearly, holding her head up.  ”And not with her…”

Brandy makes a face.  ”Look, I don’t want to be a part of your freaky ménage a trois anyway!”

“I don’t see why I have to play fair, but very well,” Klaus says.  He is swift, pining Brandy against the wall, catching her gaze easily.  Bonnie lurches forward but a warning glance roots her to the spot.  ”I was never here, you pathetic little twit.  You never met me.  If we passed in a street, you would not recognize me.  As for Bonnie - she never came home from her little study group.  You remember her talking about being stressed, about visiting old friends, and you figure the demands of college life have become too much…”

Bonnie wants to cry, scream in protest.  The demands of her old life had become too much - this life, the life she is desperate to cling to, has been the perfect escape.

But it’s too late - Brandy is nodding stupidly and Klaus is pushing her aside.  He looks back to her, extending his hand.

“Shall we?”

May 6

Prompt: Bonnie and Klaus argue over the best way to set the Boarding House on fire.

If her friends had been paying just the slightest bit of attention they would have seen it coming, the descent into something more sinister, the embrace of darkness.  Too much had happened for her to remain pure.  She had been hurt too many times and she was still just a teenager, unable to properly deal with it all in the end.

But they weren’t.  Pay attention that is.

However, he was.

So naturally - he took advantage.

Which lead them to their current situation.

Bonnie stands with her arms crossed.  Klaus has an eyebrow raised but does not say anything - at first.

“My point, love, is there is nothing wrong with being old fashioned…”

Bonnie still doesn’t look at him, her eyes are locked on the structure a head of them.  Thankfully they have the cover of the trees because what once was intended to be a quick and dirty job has turned into a battle of wills between them.

And they are supposed to be on the same damn side.

“I never said there was,” Bonnie says after a moment’s silence.  “I merely stated that there is something inherently boring about lighting a match.”

“There is something to be said for simplicity,” Klaus counters.

“That fits.  You are simple,” Bonnie shoots out.

Bonnie.”  There is a warning in his voice.  But secretly, he is amused as he always is by her sharp tongue.

“Let me do it.” There is a note of desperation in her voice that was not there the first time she had issued the request.

Klaus understands where it comes from.  This is her chance to hit back for all the Salvatore brothers have done to her.  And while it may not cause them any physical pain, reducing their home to a pile of ash is a good start.  “I believe that my method is far more effective.”

“You just want to play with fire,” Bonnie whines.  “I hope you piss the bed.”

“Now, now, you are being childish,” Klaus says with a cluck of his tongue.  He reaches down to touch the shoulder of his protege, who he hopes will be his greatest creation.  “It’s effectiveness comes from the fact that you will not be drained afterward.”

She finally looks up at him, sensing that he, of all creatures, is looking out of her.

And smiles.

X

In the end, they find a compromise.

Klaus takes gas and blow torch to the main house.

Bonnie gains her own satisfaction by erupting Stefan’s precious roadster in flames.

They both sleep perfectly fine in their nice dry bed that night.
